Jürgen Klopp stops at end of season as coach of Borussia Dortmund. He asked BVB CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke to termination of his contract, the Bundesliga club confirmed in an Ad hoc announcement. Earlier, Image reported
According to the newspaper Klopp’s successor has already been fixed. Thomas Tuchel, former coach of FSV Mainz 05, Dortmund will take over in the summer. Tuchel had already taken up the legacy of Klopp in Mainz
For Klopp and Borussia Dortmund thus ending an era of seven years, in which the club enjoyed great success. Twice was the BVB German champion, once Cup Winners’ Cup. In the Champions League final in 2013 Dortmund defeated FC Bayern
