Champions League: Thomas Müller shoots Bayern Munich to victory – SPIEGEL ONLINE

Thomas Müller has led FC Bayern München to victory in the first Champions League group game. The national team arrived at 3: 0 (0: 0) victory at Olympiacos twice. The third goal got Mario Götze.

“We have done difficult for us,” Müller said after the game. His coach Josep Guardiola added: “The first game is always difficult but we have the game completely controlled and no chance as allowed..”

Bayern did in the first 25 minutes against hard tiefstehende hosts. Piraeus defended compact and had by Brown Ideye the first opportunity. But the header of the Nigerian was unplaced, Manuel Neuer caught the ball loose from.

Ugly scenes there had been before the match in Munich fan block. After provocations of Bayern fans the policemen had acted disproportionately hard with batons. It apparently some fans have been violated, showed how video recordings from the interior
