The Corruption confession of witness Chuck Blazer and his alleged accomplice confused warnings Jack Warner let Fifa do not come to rest after the resignation announcement by President Joseph Blatter. In the newly published statements of the former top functionary Blazer in an American court for bribery million before the World Cup Award in 1998 and 2010, Blatter name is not mentioned (Here there is a protocol in PDF format). Warner, however, makes accusations massive front against his former boss and former friend at the controls of football power.

According to Warner, the World Association to have its Independent Liberal Party to Trinidad and Tobago supported financially in the election campaign five years ago. Fifa officials have known about it, including Blatter, Warner declared in an eight-minute television address. “Not even death will stop the avalanche coming,” predicted the 72-year-old in front of supporters at Trinidad. The appropriate checks and other evidence have Warner passed to his lawyers, the newspaper wrote, “Trinidad and Tobago Guardian”.

After he heard about Blatter’s resignation announcement last Tuesday that he had the Swiss in a letter to the immediate resignation suggested reported Warner and fabled something nebulous, “Blatter knows why he has fallen. In the anticipated race of several accused Fifa officials to the role of the judiciary informant Warner wants to be far ahead apparently. That could be a threat to Blatter and Co. – regardless of his departure from the Fifa top. The question is whether Warner wants to make only interesting, or whether he actually incriminating evidence. He could use the legal horse-trading for a small penalty, he should be extradited to the United States. In his native Trinidad and Tobago, he is well connected as a former security minister.

On the principle mitigation, through cooperation and Blazer had set, as the evidence was overwhelming against him. Blazer – 1997-2013 the FIFA Executive Committee – seized in November 2013, a court in Brooklyn / New York. His full confession has now been published. On 40 pages, black and white, with a red identification number on the edge of the log is retained. It brings new insights in the recent corruption scandal with details bribery of several FIFA officials from South Africa and probably Morocco.

The statements also bring FIFA Secretary General Jerome Valcke possibly in distress. A much-discussed payment of ten million dollars over a Fifa account at supposedly possible connivance of Valcke is not explicitly mentioned in the documents. But the evidence suggests that Blazer also having regarded the deal in his confession as a bribe.

Valcke described the process so far as regular payment of South Africa for the football development in Central America, which was also released by the former, now deceased, Fifa functionary Julio Grondona and not by him. A reaction to the statements Valckes Blazers was still pending. Previously, he had rejected any responsibility. “I have nothing to reproach myself,” he told the station France Info. There is no reason why he should not remain on the post of Secretary General. “I certainly do not feel guilty.”
