Aachen (dpa) – The launch of Matthias Rath and his stallion Totilas in the individual decisions at the European Dressage Championships in Aachen is open. “We have to wait and see what tomorrow the vet says,” said the 31-year-old.
Previously, he had brought the German team only bronze in Team Event. After his ride in the afternoon there had been rumors about the lack of health condition of the now 15-year Totilas. On Tuesday, the horse had passed the so-called vet check. The individual medals will be awarded on Saturday in the Grand Prix Special on Sunday and in the freestyle.
