Hand game: referee Busacca boss criticized DFB – Spiegel Online

Hamburg – In the discussion of the handball rule the world governing body Fifa defends against all criticism and sees the German Football Association (DFB) and the German referee in the duty. “The rule should be the Bundesliga players and coaches explained only right times. Since the national associations are required,” said Fifa referee Massimo Busacca-chief of the newspaper “Bild”.

“The football understanding of the referee is very important., You must live football, inhale it and understand especially., You must be able to enable the player. Just so the referee can make the right decision.”

In order to substantiate his views, Busacca led the World Cup in Brazil. Fifa had “brought as coach Joachim Loew on board. We had no problem with the hand control., The rule must be interpreted properly,” Busacca said. Former referee called on critics to better present arguments: “One must also provide reasons as manager and can not only say that the interpretation would be stupid.”

In Germany recently had a lot of players, coaches and representatives of the Referee guild the handball rule after several contentious decisions criticized because of the undefined discretion.
