Johan Cruyff had a dream. As coach of FC Barcelona, he wanted to establish a football that is flexible and free, in which each player may occupy any position. Even as a player, he was part of that glorious Ajax Amsterdam team of the 70s, which was known for its castling and position change. Many fans are raving today from the “total football” of the Dutch, the Cruyff later established at FC Barcelona.
Currently, however, there is a different club the ideal of football High: FC Bayern. Coach Pep Guardiola, who was discovered as a player of Cruyff and has trained, developed the Dutch style and combined with an aggressive counter pressing.
