Friend waived qualifying for New Year’s event – THE WORLD

Garmisch-Partenkirchen – Severin Freund has waived after two strong training jumps on the qualification for the New Year’s event of the Four Hills Tournament in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The tour-leader sailed in the sample to 133 and 136.5 meters and then grabbed his skis together. In qualifying then scored top favorite Peter Prevc with 139 meters the best place. Friend had won the opening event of the Four Hills Tournament on Tuesday.
