Garmisch-Partenkirchen The New Year’s event was not for the faint hearted. Severin Freund jumped in third place for the first time in Garmisch-Partenkirchen on the podium, but lost his tour-guide to the winning Slovenians Peter Prevc.
The first podium finish of his career with the New Year’s event of the Four Hills Tournament consoled Severin Freund quickly about losing the overall lead time.
