2. Bundesliga: VfL Bochum wins clearly against SC Paderborn – SPIEGEL ONLINE

VfL Bochum – SC Paderborn 4: 0 (3: 0)

To the rear half kick-off the second division Bochum received the SC Paderborn. The team of Stefan Effenberg in five games was waiting for a victory. The coach was sure: It will not last much longer, “until we celebrate victories again”. It quickly became clear that Effenberg’s forecasts in Bochum would not meet.

The hosts were already in the eighth minute lead: After a ball loss of Michael Heinloth Timo Perthel crossed for Peniel Mlapa, who to 1: 0.. Only two minutes later Mlapa increased after a pass from Marco Terrazino (10th minute).

The SCP seemed unsettled, and Bochum played more offensively. Janik Haberer won against Niklas Hoheneder by, took advantage, forcing keeper Lukas Kruse for a parade (20th). 30 minutes in, Tim Hoogland scored from close range, the 3: 0th Effenberg responded to the weak performance of his team and changed before the break twice: Nick Proschwitz came for Heinloth and Khaled Narey for Dominik Wydra (34th).

Despite the change came Paderborn not much better into the game, Bochum continued to press. In addition, the SCP had to play the last few minutes with ten men after Süleyman Koc had seen the red card. Substitute Simon Terodde entered for VfL to the penalty, but failed to Kruse. Only in the final minute Felix Bastians increased again for Bochum.

Paderborn stands after six games without a win in a row still in the relegation zone, the VfL is for the time being fifth.

1860 München – 1. FC Heidenheim 1: 3 (1: 1)

The first goal of the second half fell in Munich: Guests from Heidenheim shocked 1860 a goal after 6 minutes. Ben Halloran pushed the ball to keeper Vitus Eicher pass into the far corner, where the ball went into the goal against the inside of the post and from there. Munich had a hard time then. An attempt from outside the box by Daniel Adlung parried Heidenheims goalkeeper Jan Zimmermann (13). Only right before the break equalized: Rubin Okotie headed the ball home from close range to score (45 + 2)

In the second half the hosts made the game, but again Heidenheim took the lead.: Robert Leipertz prevailed against Maximilian Wittek and Christopher Schindler and hit into the left corner to 2: 1 (54). Smail Morabit made in the 83rd minute for the decision.

1860 München is in the table in 17th place, Heidenheim pushes provisional ninth place.

SV Sandhausen – Eintracht Braunschweig 0: 2 (0: 0)

The SV Sandhausen received Eintracht Braunschweig. Both teams were very defensive and ventured in the first half forwards only slightly. Emil Berggreen for Eintracht (10) and Aziz Bouhaddouz for Sandhausen (31) were still too many chances.

The second half began with a direct hit: Berggreen brought the Braunschweig after a pass from Ken Reichel the lead (47). Eintracht keeper Rafael Gikiewicz prevented with a strong prime in the 63rd minute equalizer by Bouhaddouz. Denis Linsmayer awarded in the 76th minute another great chance for the hosts. Instead, put Braunschweig to: Salim Khelifi scored the 2: 0 (78).

With the victory, Braunschweig pushes temporarily in fourth place in the table. Sandhausen is initially seventh.
