The Swiss Justice confirmed the arrest of two officials of the Football World Association a few hours before the meeting of the FIFA Executive Committee in Zurich.
It is the vice-president Juan Angel Napout (Paraguay ) and Alfredo Hawit Banegas (Honduras). They have been taken at the request of the US Attorney in Zurich in custody pending extradition. They are accused of having accepted bribes in the millions.
The FBI is investigating against 16 other Fifa officials.
