The facts: Six months after the spectacular arrests of several soccer officials there have been again a police action against Fifa officials in Zurich luxury hotel. The Swiss Justice confirmed the arrest of two officials of the Football World Association a few hours before the meeting of the FIFA Executive Committee in Zurich.
It is the vice-president Juan Angel Napout (Paraguay ) and Alfredo Hawit Banegas (Honduras). They have been taken at the request of the US Attorney in Zurich in custody pending extradition. They are accused of having accepted bribes in the millions.
The FBI is investigating against 16 other Fifa officials.
FBI investigated Blatter role in bribery scandal
Monday 07 December, 08.26 clock: The US Federal Bureau of Investigation investigated the role of suspended FIFA President Jospeh Blatter in a gigantic bribery scandal, according to BBC. The report from Sunday, according to the sports marketing company ISL is a total of $ 100 million paid to senior officials of the Football World Association (92 million euros).
