In one of the most exciting fights of the Bundesliga relegation history it has the VfB Stuttgart on the final day but still managed – and the HSV escaped the relegation rank 16. Losers are the little ones: Paderborn and Freiburg have to 1: 2 defeats in the second division. In injury time, Freiburg could have saved even more directly with a goal in Hannover.
