The sentence has been passed on behalf of the people, but it was not a judgment that would have called for the mood of the people: As the jury in Boston on Friday after 14 hours of deliberation announced the death sentence against the Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, this was the logic of his act of terrorism and was still unusual in many ways.
